La Torre IGT
Red wine made with a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes. The objective of this wine is to be produced with more international characteristics, addressed to a public that appreciates very structured, powerful wines rich in extracts, suitable to be paired with the important dishes of Italian and international cuisine. This wine was released in 2011, after aging for 10 months in small oak barrels.

The wine has an intense ruby-red colour. |

Nose |
The fragrances are intense with light fruity notes and a discreet hint of spices reminiscent of tobacco and undergrowth. |

Palate |
Excellent structure and sapidity, rich in extracts and good balance between acidic strength and tannins. Elegant flavour, very round, agreeable, with a good persistent finish. Powerful, suitable to be paired with the important dishes of Italian and international cuisine. |

First course pasta dishes served with meat or game sauces, second courses of game, prime cuts of red meat (such as steak, filet …), stews, braised or stewed meat and aged cheeses. |
