Chianti D.O.C.G. “Riserva”
A red wine made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes selected and harvested by hand in our old vineyards. Aged in small French oak barrels for a period of approximately 15 months and aged in bottles for 4 months more. Excellent paired with savoury dishes, roasts and game.

Vinification |
After destemming, the grapes are fermented in vitrified cement tanks. The time of maceration on the skins was approximately 20 days. During the first five days pumping over is performed three times a day, then reduced to only twice a day and, in the last days, to just once. |

Organoleptic features |
This wine has an intense, deep and brilliant ruby-red colour. The fragrances are also very intense and complex with slightly fruity notes, especially of cherries, mingled with pleasant spicy notes, particularly tobacco, undergrowth and cocoa. Very powerful and pleasant taste, with great balance between acidic strength and tannins. Very sapid, with excellent structure and a good, prolonged finish. |

This wine goes very well with all pasta dishes served with tomato sauces made with meat or game, and with all meat dishes, whether roasted or grilled, or stewed with tomatoes. Excellent in pairings with all kinds of game and with aged, strong-flavoured cheeses. |
